promises, promises!
i, dorotha harried, do hereby promise not to make any more drastic changes to my blog. i may tinker with what i have now, but i will make no changes that require downloading new templates. i'm sorry to everyone who i have hurt in the process.

There's nothing wrong with your blog template, past or present, that I could see. Well, the gray font over black is a little hard to read in the sidebar, but I probably won't read much over there anyway. If your quirks quit and your fidgits turn to midgits, then let it be. If you're feeling creative, of course, that's a different matter. I like changing colors and stuff myself.
ron, the problem with the grey on black should be fixed. i hate how different this looks on various computers. i never know what colors are going to go well with each other. anyway, i best leave well enough alone.
