would you rather live in a town with only 3 slightly non-white looking people, or a town where the only occupations for women are pastry chef, emt, librarian, and fitness instructor?

this is like the weirdest thing i've ever seen.
i like that there are NO WOMEN AT ALL in the military or construction fields.
Not that there's anything wrong with being a librarian, Dorotha ... Ms. Susan's life does sound pretty depressing, though.

there's something really disturbing about how they give them names and talk about their friendships with each other. also, there's an armed forces that fights an enemy... what? who is the enemy in "mighty world"? they never say. susan the librarian reads to kids in the book club while jim the marine plants mines to take out the enemy... it just freaks me out.
